Recently, in another attempt to crush the competition, Facebook bought the Wifi messaging service, Whatsapp for $19 billion. This is an obscene amount of money for an application but this is slowly becoming the trend, the virtual is worth more than the real. Here are a few things that are cheaper than Whatsapp.

HCL is an Indian company that provides tech support and software and engineering research and development programmes to different companies. It’s been operational since 1991, so its much older than Whatsapp. It is coincidentally, also for sale and it only costs $10 billion.

It is an experiment that explores the cutting edge of physics and is attempting to break the barrier between the “old” physics and the “new” physics.
