Recently, in another attempt to crush the competition, Facebook bought the Wifi messaging service, Whatsapp for $19 billion. This is an obscene amount of money for an application but this is slowly becoming the trend, the virtual is worth more than the real. Here are a few things that are cheaper than Whatsapp.
HCL is an Indian company that provides tech support and software and engineering research and development programmes to different companies. It’s been operational since 1991, so its much older than Whatsapp. It is coincidentally, also for sale and it only costs $10 billion.

Celine Dion’s house is a water wonderland, with slides and lakes and and pool spread across almost 10,000 square feet. The building is painted white and houses 500 gallons of water. The home costs just $20 million.

Facebook itself bought the service Instagram for $1 billion. In Whatsapp’s defence though, Instagram was also over priced.

The Crown Jewels of the British Empire are valued at between $10-$12 billion. This includes the famous Koh-i-Noor diamond brought from India.
9- Bill Gates’ house
Bill Gates’ house is valued at around $147.5 million. Bill Gates’ house! He’s the richest person in the universe and his house is worth less than Whatsapp.
