While Sony already introduced the technology with its quirky QX lens-style cameras last year, JK imaging has recently announced a pair of Kodak-Branded smart lens camera. The Kodak PixPro SL10 and SL25 offer an optical zoom of 10x and 25x respectively. With a long range optical zoom capability, the gadgets offer next level of quality, comfort and on-the-go sharing on mobile photography.
Designed to enhance the camera specifications of an ordinary smartphone in market, the Kodak PixPro Smart Lens Camera is an example of simplicity and accuracy that snaps on to iOS and Android capable devices and turns smartphones into the next generation of long zoom camera.
The Smart Lens PixPro SL10 features a 10x optical zoom, 1080p video, 28-280mm wide-angle lens and optical image stabilization (OIS). It comes with a price tag of $199. The other pair, PixPro SL25 costs $299 as it gets even more powerful with 25x optical zoom and a 24mm ultra-wide-angle lens. Set to release in spring 2014, both cameras offer an amazing experience of portability, as they weigh only a few ounces.
