Mini unveiled its new uniquely designed and racy concept roadster at Concorso d’Eleganza at Villa d’Este on the shores of Lake Como in Italy. The new design called Mini Superleggera Vision was created in cooperation with Milan-based legendary coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring.
The Mini Superleggera Vision is a spectacular electric powered two seater roadster which catches an eye due to its British origin and Italian touch.
The mini roadster has a longer and wider body as compared to its predecessors. It is termed as a superlight design with a steel tube frame covered with sheets of aluminium.
The front of the car features the similar mini legacy style with large circular headlights.
The roadster’s LED taillights are the stand out feature of the car. It has the split Union Jack sign with “Mini Superleggera Vision” logo engraved in between.
Overall the car has a long bonnet, cab backward stance and a curvy surface. It is painted with a light como blue color with a frameless wrap around windscreen and 19-inch multi spoke wheels.
All the unnecessary decoration is sacrificed with more focus on the lightness and efficiency of bodywork. The interior is a classic Italian design with a single piece of unpainted aluminum. There is a little button that activates a camera set placed between the two seats to capture the unforgettable moments on the road.
The company has not yet released any specs for the car but we are definitely waiting for the production to reach the market.
