Have you ever dreamed to see how solar system actually works? This beautifully crafted watch will help you explain half of the known story. Designed by Van Cleef & Arpel, made with 369 parts, this watch shows the rotation of six planets aside its numerical time-display in real time. You can well observe, how actually Mercury, Venus, Earth Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are rotating around the Sun.
7 stones representing six Planets and the Sun cover the prominent area of the Midnight Planétairum watch. Time is represented by way of a shooting star that rotates along the out-most area of the face. The central face features accurate rotation and representation of the Earth and the five other planets visible from here around the sun—Mercury in 88 days, Venus in 224, Earth in a year, Mars in 687 days, Jupiter in 12 years and Saturn in 29.
On top of the artistic design, the watch features “lucky star” – You can set a particular day out of year, as the “lucky day” and when your day arrives the lucky star gets located just above the Earth on the dial. The standard version of the watch will be available in Pink Gold with $245,000 price tag, later this year.
