Yuneec – A company known in the aircraft industry, with its super-light electric powered air crafts has come up with another electric powered locomotive. But this time, its not for the air – It hits the ground with its electric powered long-board called the E-Go Cruise.
The E-Go cruise features a Lithium-Ion battery, which takes 3-5 hours to fully recharge and take the riding range to up to 30 KM. The battery offers a maximum riding time of 3 hours. With the help of its flexible deck, the E-Go cruise is designed to support riders up to 220 lb (100 kg).
Its wireless controller helps the rider accelerate/decelerate the board on finger tips and also offers on-board LED flashlight. The motor attached below the board deck helps to pass an inclined distance of 10% from the horizontal ground. Additionally, an intelligent feature of motors recharges the battery whenever longboard is decelerated.
The board is also lightweight, weighing less than 14 lb (6.3 kg) which consequently helps to maximize its speed up to 20km/h. It costs $699 to get your E-Go cruise and you can pre-order from the website with an initial $100 deposit. The shipment begins next month.
