The shirt is specially stitched with superhydrophobic nanotechnology, which uses microscopic structures to repel water-based liquids by forming a layer of air between the fabric and liquid molecules. This causes the liquid to runoff into a 150 degree sphere and roll right off the shirt, avoiding unwanted stains. Even if you sweat, wearing a Silic shirt, the liquid evaporates into the air instead of into the fabric.
NeverWet – a chemical spray being used in the market to make any clothe waterproof in an alternate to buy Silic. But the Silic-team claims, NeverWet contains cancer causing chemicals. The designing of the shirt is being done by Vera Want, one of the famous fashion designer in based in New York, USA.
